Our line of products are ideal for several types of industries and have various applications. We develop and manufacture compounds and special mixtures to fulfill specific customer needs.
We offer all grades of thermoplastic compounds to meet client production requirements; from our TecPrene line of compact and crystal thermoplastic rubber, to our low density line.
TecPrene products are formulated using only the highest quality materials for use in injection and extrusion machinery.
These compounds are available for:
• Soles
• Direct to the injection to the upper
• Specialty products
We manufacture TecPrene in all colors and finishes including: compact, matte, crepe, expanse, transparent, crystal, translucent, and gel.
ADVANTAGES of Thermoplastic Elastomers
Thermoplastic elastomers are widely used in the Automotive, Construction, Pharmaceutical, Food/Beverage, Electronics, Machinery and Consumer goods industries
In addition to greatly simplified processing, compared to thermoset rubber, thermoplastic elastomers are 100% recyclable, easily injected, have a wide range of properties, offer great weather and UV resistance, and can be custom made to specific needs.
SANTECPRENE - TPV
Polyolefin based Thermoplastic Vulcanizate Elastomer TPV:
Santecprene consists of a TPR based compound with function and physical properties similar to traditional thermoset rubber. It is regarded to be as good as thermoplastics and as effective and economical as other materials in processing. With thermoplastic properties it combines a good level of chemical resistance with great physical properties, making it an ideal choice for injection molding applications. Like thermoplastic materials, it can be processed in injection machines with no major difficulties and has the advantage of being fully recyclable - a great convenience for reducing scrap costs.
Our TPV offers good resistance to wear, and good resilience and dynamic stability under loads. It also withstands abuse from atmospheric effects as well as oil, grease, and solvents.
Santecprene materials are a great option for sports items, automotive injection parts, sanitation couplings, grip handles, wheels, gaskets, and much more.
INJECTEC - TPU
TPU Thermoplastic polyurethanes:
High-performance elastomers that provide unique properties for a variety of applications and markets requiring soft touch characteristics, high abrasion resistance, high mechanical properties, and good compression set.
INJECTEC shows excellent results in ozone testing and has good resistance to impact and ripping. INJECTEC is processor friendly, which helps reduce cycle time and part cost with the advantage of being easily recycled.
Some potential applications for TPU include: automotive injected parts, consumer goods like utensils, house wares and toys, and industrial goods like wire and cable lining and grips for hand tools among many others.
TECPRENE - S
SBS - Styrene Butadiene Styrene Block co-polymers:
A rubber-like material with essentially the same visual properties as vulcanized rubber but with the advantage of being a fully thermoplastic elastomer(TPE).
TECPRENE is fully recyclable and a great option to reduce the scrap involved in the vulcanizing process. ICT’s SBS replaces rubber in many product applications and is becoming the new standard for rubber-like materials in today’s market because of the cost-benefit gains of processing with less equipment.
SBS is used to manufacture compounds for various applications such as: shoes, car mats, and some industrial applications such as packaging, seals, and other applications where products are NOT required to undergo a vulcanization process.
In transportation industries our TECPRENE SBS is used to decrease several costs when substituting for higher density compounds. For example, when the weight of the vehicle is reduced with lighter mats, drink consoles, and other items, fuel consumption is reduced.
TECPRENE
SBS Styrene Butadiene Styrene block co-polymers:
This compound is mainly used in the production of soles for shoes.
It can be molded as needed merely by increasing temperature to decrease hardness and then injected or extruded to their final form, which is retained simply by cooling down to room temperature.
They are rubber-like materials with great elasticity, bounce, and feel. And a great option to replace rubber with the advantage of being fully recyclable.
HIPRENE LITEC
Our compounds can meet a wide range of specifications and are applied in various industries, primarily those where great resistance to temperature, UV radiation, and ozone degradation is required - even extreme conditions.
Our hydrogenated SEBS products have unique properties such as availability in very low to very high hardness. Special resistance to weathering agents and UV aging, great compatibility with polyolefins (polypropylen and polyethylene), ease of processing, high service temperature, and processing stability. The material of choice for production of soft, strong compounds for handles and grips, elastic components in diapers, oil gels for telecommunications and medical applications, impact modifiers of engineering thermoplastics, and flexiblizers/tougheners for clear polypropylene.
The use of LITEC SEBS in sports items such as fins and other aquatic accessories provides great advantages over other materials due to the low density and flexibility, in addition to the soft touch.
In medical use, compliance with toxicological standards and standards related to human skin contact is essential. In this regard our LITEC SEBS products provide great advantages because the material is chemically and biologically inert.
